A note for clubs and festivals booking John's live shows On tour, John usually goes it alone (or as a duo), preferring to play festivals and folk-oriented singer-songwriter clubs. While "Ghosts of the Royal Motel ", John's latest album, was recorded with a full band, the Campistas, his live shows are generally solo or duet events, playing guitar and harmonica with some percussion.
