May 20/05 - Operations
for "Thank You Waitress" moved to Fat
Dog Productions for final tracking -
The recording and mixing duties for John Allaire's upcoming
Fall release of "Thank
You Waitress" have been kicked into high gear
over at Fat
Dog Productions, an Ottawa-based studio. "The
reasons behind move are two-fold. One, the facilities
are amazing; their
"big room" gives the final tracking a more airy
acoustic feeling, which lends itself well to tracking the
traditional instruments we're using. Secondly, I've brought
Chad Nesrallah on board as engineer and co-producer, which
will help in creating new tonal ideas and a fresh perspective
on the final product", Allaire said.
Allaire is on track for a September release and is starting
to book the tour that will take him across North America
and even Europe in early 2006.
